1. Overview
The Aconite bot ("the bot") is a Discord bot run by Aconite ("we", "us"). It is only used in our own Discord server. By being in our server or applying on our website, you agree to these terms and to our main Terms of Service.
2. What the Bot Does
- Whitelist check. When you apply on our website, the bot checks that your Discord account is in our Discord server. You must be a member to apply.
- Welcome and boosts. When you join or boost the server, the bot posts a card with your name and avatar in the welcome channel.
- Rules. Reacting with ✅ on the rules post gives you the Verified role. Removing the reaction takes it away again.
- Applications. When you apply on our website, the bot gives you the Members role and posts your application in a staff-only channel. Staff accept or decline it there, and the bot sends you a direct message with the decision.
- Raid protection. One channel is marked as a trap for raid bots. Anyone who posts in it is banned automatically and permanently, and their messages from the last hour are removed.
- Levels. You earn XP for chatting and for time in voice calls. The bot announces level-ups, and /level and /levels show your level and the leaderboards. Leaderboards may also be shown on our website.
- Tickets. /ticket and /idea open a private thread between you and staff, for help, a player report, an appeal or an idea. Only staff can close a ticket. When it's closed (or its thread is deleted), you get a copy of it by direct message.
- AI helper. When you mention the bot or reply to it, an AI answers. It can open or list your tickets, send in an idea, tell you who's online, look up levels, set reminders (in your own time zone, once you've told it which one) and play little games. It only does these for the person who asked.
- Server management. Server admins can ask the bot in plain words to create, rename or delete channels and categories, to build its own set of channels and roles (such as Verified and Members), to move channels it doesn't use into an archive only admins can see, and to post its messages; the server owner can also have it delete every channel, category and role. It asks them to confirm first, and recent changes can be undone (deleted channels come back empty). If roles are deleted and brought back, the bot gives them back to the members who had them.
- Moderation. Staff use the bot to ban, kick, mute and warn members, delete messages, and slow down or lock channels. If you're banned, kicked, muted or warned, the bot sends you a direct message saying so and why.
Apart from those moderation messages, the decision on your application, a copy of your closed tickets, and reminders it can't post in the channel, the bot does not send you direct messages, and it doesn't act in other servers.
The AI can be wrong. It isn't staff, and nothing it says is a promise from us. Staff make every decision about bans, appeals, refunds and rewards.
3. Using the Bot
The bot may only be used in our Discord server. Do not try to abuse, overload, or get around it. Our server rules apply to anything involving the bot.
Posting in the raid-bot trap channel gets you banned, even if you're a real person. The channel says so clearly, so these bans are not appealed.
4. Availability
The bot is provided "as is". It may be offline, change, or stop at any time without notice. We are not responsible for any loss caused by the bot being unavailable or by mistakes it makes.
5. Termination
We may stop you from using the bot, our server, or our website if you break these terms or our server rules.
6. Changes
We may update these terms at any time. Changes will be shown on this page with an updated date. Continuing to use the bot after a change means you accept the new terms.
7. Contact
For questions about the bot, reach out through our Discord server.
